Sell on Slap
Vendor Guidelines
Effective August 9, 2026 · Version 2026-08-09
These Guidelines apply to every Vendor application, Room, Announcement, and Drop in Phase 1. They supplement the Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility and truthful applications
A Vendor owner must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business. Application details, attestations, social links, and requested documents must be current and genuine. Approval is permission to publish on Slap, not a license, inspection, certification, endorsement, or promise of future commerce access.
2. Food-business responsibility
You are solely responsible for determining and following every federal, Texas, county, city, market, commissary, cottage-food, mobile-food, tax, food-handler, labeling, allergen, temperature, packaging, and safety rule that applies to you and each item. Requirements depend on product and location and can change. Tell Slap promptly if your authority to operate is suspended, restricted, or revoked.
3. Accurate Posts and availability
- Use truthful titles, descriptions, media, categories, times, locations, price or price-range text, and quantity estimates.
- Do not manufacture urgency, scarcity, popularity, sell-outs, or customer demand.
- Update a material time or location change promptly; cancel a Post you cannot fulfill; mark a limited Drop sold out when availability ends.
- Do not imply that a Phase 1 Post is a Slap reservation, guaranteed inventory, native checkout, or live sale.
- One tracked CTA must lead to the accurately labeled Vendor-controlled or third-party destination.
4. Location and pickup privacy
Choose exact public location only when customers may safely and lawfully see it. Use approximate neighborhood for a private residence or a location that should not be public. Do not expose another person’s home, workplace, real-time position, or private coordinates without permission. Provide lawful pickup instructions through an appropriate customer channel.
5. Media and social links
Upload or link only content you own or may lawfully use. Obtain permission from identifiable people and location owners and obtain all necessary music, artwork, trademark, and publicity rights. Do not film customers, workers, minors, private documents, payment screens, or private locations without appropriate permission. External social content must be a specific relevant post or video, not deceptive or unrelated promotion.
6. External sales and customer care
You—not Slap—are the seller for every Phase 1 external transaction. Clearly disclose the destination’s price, fees, cancellation and refund terms, availability, pickup or delivery method, allergen information, and contact route. Honor applicable promises and law, respond to customers, and do not direct customers to unsafe or deceptive payment methods.
7. Reviews, engagement, and fair competition
Do not buy, sell, fabricate, exchange, or coordinate reviews, followers, reminders, views, clicks, shares, reports, or other ranking signals. Do not require a positive sentiment for a benefit, ask only happy customers for reviews in a misleading way, hide employee or family connections, threaten reviewers, or report truthful criticism merely because it is negative. Compete on genuine food, service, and customer interest.
8. Respect, safety, and prohibited products
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not use Slap for unlawful food or products, controlled substances, weapons, stolen goods, sexual services, hate, threats, harassment, impersonation, fraud, spam, or content that exploits minors. Do not arrange an unsafe customer meeting or publish personal data.
9. Reports, records, and enforcement
Slap may request information, preserve audit records, limit a Post, remove content, require a correction, suspend publishing, unpublish a Room, or decline or terminate Vendor access. Serious safety, fraud, rights, or legal concerns may be escalated without advance notice. To appeal, email team@onslap.com with the Vendor, decision, and supporting explanation.
10. Phase 2 is separate
Vendor approval does not grant Stripe, ordering, payout, live-stream, chat, tips, rewards, delivery, or QR access. Those features remain disabled in Phase 1 and will require separate eligibility, verification, fees, and seller-commerce and live-service terms if Slap activates them.
