Community Guidelines

Effective August 9, 2026 · Version 2026-08-09

Use Slap to help people find real local food. These rules apply to accounts, Posts, reviews, media, reports, and messages to Slap.

Be real

Use your genuine account and experience. Do not impersonate, fabricate businesses or events, manipulate rankings, create fake engagement, or conceal a material relationship in a review or endorsement.

Be respectful and safe

Do not threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, sexually target, or promote hate against anyone. Do not publish private personal information, precise private locations, credentials, financial data, or images of people where they reasonably expect privacy. Never exploit or endanger a minor.

Keep content lawful and relevant

Content must relate to the Vendor, food, event, or Slap experience and comply with law. No illegal goods or conduct, fraud, malware, spam, graphic violence, sexual content, stolen material, or infringement. Only share media you own or may lawfully use.

Review honestly

Describe a genuine experience and disclose employment, family, compensation, free products, or another material connection. Do not trade benefits for positive or negative sentiment. Lawful criticism is allowed; false factual claims, extortion, threats, and coordinated review attacks are not.

Report responsibly

Use reporting for a good-faith policy, safety, privacy, fraud, or rights concern. Do not mass-report competitors or truthful criticism. For urgent danger, contact emergency services first; Slap reporting is not an emergency channel.

How Slap responds

Slap may limit distribution, remove or preserve content, invalidate activity, request information, warn a user, restrict features, unpublish a Room, or suspend or terminate access. We consider context, severity, history, safety, legal duties, and available evidence. We may report credible threats or unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities.

Appeals and contact

To report something when no in-app control is available, or to appeal a moderation decision, email team@onslap.com. Include the URL, account or Vendor, reason, and any supporting information. Slap may require identity or authority verification before disclosing account information or restoring content.
